the everett theatre where they shot some of dead poet's society and ian's uncle mike is the projectionist.

we spend a night at ian's aunt liz and uncle mike's who wonderfully throw us a cookout and bonfire. this is aunt liz's shop purple sage where she was having a tea-tasting. not documented in delaware: the charcoal pit where four generations of ian's family have enjoyed steak and cheeses, a tour of the projection booth in the everett, and the brandywine river museum that was having an excellent children's book illustration exhibit.

Waffle House in Middletown, DE. One of the minor fringe benefits of visiting Delaware was being able to indulge in Waffle House (which was a frequent dining spot for me when living in AZ and TN)
