stop-motion only works because you cut out all the real-time motion,
it only looks right when you take all the pretty stills and re-assemble them
minus the drama,
minus the shadows,
minus the painstaking accuracy it took to construct each smiling picture

i want to always remember my first surgery and the bandages and how the scars have yet to heal,

that he was merely drawn to look that way,
that toys made in his image were not ever made of anything other than plastics,
let alone his perpetual desire to be a real boy -- he wasn't even a real puppet.

I got tired of the way backdrops didn't work believably when the camera moved so I had an ides. As I state in the video, I realize it's probably not original.
I created a gigantic sphere, I think about 100,000 meters or more, and textured it with clouds. I placed the entire animation inside the hollow sphere and rotated the sphere for seamless clouds everywhere you look on the horizon. The sun is another distant sphere. It's pretty large, probably city sized (sorry, I forgot the units), and placed far enough back that it behaves like a real distant object.

Besides the ominous title and opening lyric, Ive looked out every window to find the sun, it seems that somethings wrong now, some damage done, the song is incredibly very Shangrilas in style, John Lennons fave girl group. The amazing Roxanne Fontana here on 12-string acoustic guitar displaying her talent musically, and mystically with this prophetic song.
