its late. cant sleep. cant breathe. cant taste. cant even feel. everything is painful and painless and mundane and tranquil and beautiful and false. thats what makes it real. base sincerity on that which is insincere. on that which is clearly unclear, but still obvious enough to be obscene and confusing. i yearn to tell you of the miles ive traveled in hatred. all of this for you two. i hate you and love you both in similar ways and ive walked upon this road, each step a little more angry, becoming a little more calloused. but i plaster on this semi-smile, mostly frown, whatever the fuck it is, and i take pictures and i pretend that i dont fucking hate you both. but i do. i really r e a l l y fucking do. can you feel with liquor down your throat? can you care with semen in your stomach? it doesnt matter. i cant feel. i cant sleep. i cant even capitalize my words tonight. its late.
look what you helped create. the epitome of all things disjointed

The lyrics of this song were taken from a poem by May Probyn, a Victorian era poet. I wrote and arranged the music for it. The video shows many great artist paintings that depict the Nativity. It is amazing to see the different interpretations of each great painter.

Here is the 2008 version of Where in Iowa is Jeff? From February to November, I logged 9,850 miles and collected 300 dancing clips. Between the 2007 and 2008 videos, I visited all 99 Iowa counties and drove somewhere between 15,000 and 18,000 miles.
Since last year focused on the top-tier Iowa spots, this years video visits more obscure Iowa places and enabled me to interact more with Iowans along the way. If you think you've seen all of Iowa, you are wrong. Keep looking; you'll be amazed at what you find.

PALE:
The wind blows open the door
Obscures my view
I don't want to feel anymore
I want to be new
Feeling sick, the sun sets so fast
I've no time to breathe
So instead, I'm trapped in myself
And I'd like to leave.
I don't know where this goes
I'm dropped out and cold
Shiver through the day
Wake up pale and used
The wind blows open the door
I cannot sleep
Just know that I am sorry for
Falling beneath
Feeling sick, the sun's here again
Another day to lose
Seasons change, so why can't I?
And why can you?
I don't know where this goes
I'm dropped out and cold
Shiver through the day
Wake up pale and used
I'm above and below every one of you
It's on my time, hurry up, I don't know what else to do
It bears repeating, it's receding, I'm just confused
I don't know what else I can do
The wind blows open the door
Obscures my view
Lungfelt
Before the ink dries
Before I come home
A part of defied
The rest of me alone
Below the sex is over
Just before I'm done
A part of me relies
On the part of me that's gone
I can feel you breathing
Keep me in your lungs
Before I turn black
Before I fade away
I'll pave myself in dust
In all that's dirty
Before I close my eyes
And let you burn away
A part of me will die
But the rest will stay the same
I can feel you breathing. No. No. No.
I can feel you breathing. No. No. No.
Keep me in your lungs.

A Cedar Rapids company that also has contact call centers in other parts of Iowa is opening a fourth in Marshalltown, that will bring 200 new jobs with an annual payroll of more than $4 million.
Thomas L. Cardella & Associates, which announced the expansion in a news release, said it would offer 185 entry-level positions and 15 managerial jobs at the new call center. TLC&A employs a total of 710 people at call centers in Cedar Rapids, Coralville and Keokuk.
"As mayor of Marshalltown, I am very pleased to see these 200 jobs coming to Marshalltown," said Gene Beach. "In my conversations with Mr. Cardella, I was assured that these would be good wages with benefits. In the current economic climate, this is very important."
TLC&A provides direct marketing to Fortune 500 companies in the financial services, insurance, publication, technology, telecom, entertainment, utilities and travel industries.
