Jamie Straka (5) of Peosta, Iowa has been diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia, a serious disease where the body stops producing new blood cells. The best hope for treatment is a bone marrow transplant.
In a great twist of fate - both his brothers: Jesse (3 1/2) and Drew (6 months) are both suitable matches for a bone marrow transplant. Because of his age - Jesse will donate his bone marrow to help save his brother's life.
Jamie is currently being treated at the Children's Hopsital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee under the caring and competent hands of Dr. A. Margolis, a leading authority on the treatment of Aplastic Anemia.

Max attended a Tae Kwon Do tournament in Peosta Iowa where he got a 3rd place trophy in forms.
The points go from 5 to 8. 5 is below average, 6 is average, 7 is above average, 8 is exceptional. Max got a 7.5, 7.5 & 7.8.
