A month after Election Day, filmmaker Sanford Lewis released a video report profiling the problems that numerous Cleveland area voters had casting their ballot. According to the filmmaker, voting did not go as smoothly as was commonly portrayed. Many voters faced serious problems with mail-in voting. Thirty thousand voters in just this one county cast provisional ballots that were not included in the results announced on Election Day; by the time provisional ballots were counted 10 days after Election Day, 7000 of these ballots were invalidated.
Had this election been closer, we would have heard a lot more about these disenfranchised voters, and theres no question in my mind that many of the provisional and absentee votes would have been contested in court, said filmmaker Sanford Lewis, who is also an attorney, based in Amherst, MA.

Seashore Trolley Museum in Kennebunkport, Maine, is restoring the 1906 Atlantic Shore Line electric locomotive No. 100. This clip has Bernie Bisnette explaining the various steps to dealing with elongated holes in bearings. Video images captured by Bernie Bisnette and edited by Phil Morse. This project is funded in large part with resources made available through the Maine Department of Transportation via the Federal Transportation Enhance Act of the 21st Century (TEA-21). Matching funds were raised from a variety of sources, including a large number of generous Museum volunteers. Significant donations came from Kennebunk Savings Bank, Amherst Railway Society, Kennebunkport Business Association, and Ocean National Bank. The major local sponsor for the project is the H. Albert Webb Memorial Railroad Preservation Award made available through the Massachusetts Bay Railroad Enthusiasts, Inc. (Mass Bay RRE).
