Just a practice shoot with the Canon XH-A1 upon my early morning (4AM) arrival in Manila on Christmas Day 2007, my 1st Christmas since I left when I was 17. I was delighted to get a room with a view at the swanky Diamond Hotel on Roxas Blvd, a great "xmas gift" from above. I've never seen Manila Bay like this. So as I observed the view and the day in solitude, I felt like I've come around in a full circle, fullfilled and nearly complete. I was content, thankful, and at peace -- as I waited for my wife and daughter to arrive from Olongapo City to meet up with me later in the afternoon. They have been in the Philippines for a month prior to my arrival. They did the traditional Buena Noche Xmas Eve family gatherings and stayed up late for sure.
(Sorry, clip has plenty of wavy camera movement... no tripod used and still tired from the plane ride and jet lagged).
