Nothing had changed that first day, except Emmett'sappearance, which had been shifting drastically. He no longer looks like the teenager he did two months ago. He could pass for a fully-grown man of twenty- five. His hair is still that handsome dirty blonde but it has become longer, but not but much. He must be far over six feet by now. The down side to this is that he has not talked to me since last month. The last thing I remember when talking to him was when were arguing in the hallway. At one point he had isolated himself from everyone else too. But now he only talks to Joe, Adam, and Tom, those beasts. The popular group in school. Some consider them popular but I think of them as frightening. Emmett used to joke about them. Once he said I shall protect you from the monsters. When on of those beast knocked me down in the hallway. Thats because they do look like monsters, large and strong. Now, it seems that Emmett has become one of those monsters.
Today is supposed to be one of the best days of my life. I no have the privilege of voting. Now, I am considered an adult. I can do what ever I want (mostly). I am eighteen. Its October 31st. The weeks have been endless. Emmet and I havent talked since last month. Therefore, I believe that we are no longer friends. I now, sit with Elizabeth and her friend Sally at lunch. Emmet is sitting with his monstrous friends, Joe, Adam, and Tom. They too have the qualities that Emmett has obtained over time. I watch them converse and fool around with their lunch trays. I cant stand to watch any longer so I look away. But I am still able to hear the familiar and sweet laugh of a friend I once had.
After lunch we have have free period. I walk out to the courtyard and sit at one of the benches. I just sit back and look at the clouds. A few minuets later i heard someone walk up behind me. I pretended that i didn't hear them. Then the stranger tapped me on the shoulder. I turn to see Robert. The sun was shining on his face in the perfect way, making his eyes look as if they were emeralds. He smiled and i smiled in return. His face flushed. And he looked down making a cape of hair cover his eyes.
"Hi" he said shyly
i giggled "Hey, um do want to sit down?" He looked.
"Yeah i'd love to!! Oh um i mean yeah i guess."
He sits down next to me. Well, it wasn't really next to me it was more on the other side of the bench. We had begun to talk about things. Just random stuff like school (obviously). Then a touchy subject came up. Emmett.
" So what's up with that Emmett kid?"
Robert started with that.
"I'm not so sure he used to be a great friend."
"Doesn't seem like it." he said
I sighed.
I looked around and noticed that over the course of our conversation, that Robert, had pushed over. He was now, right next to me, leaning his head on his hand and his arm on the table. This position made our knees touch. Usually i wouldn't like this but for some reason, i did. I began to lean more towards him.
"So," he said "Was Emmet like ever your boyfriend?"
i laughed, and robert looked at me like oddly but then smiled.
"No. We're only friends."
"Oh." he said as he looked down "So, he has never kissed you?" This made me confused.
"Uh no he hasn't."
Robert looked up. He began to move towards me. Then he put his hand on my thigh. That shocked me.
"So it would be ok if I...." And with that he closed his i eyes, grabbed the back of my head. I closed my eyes and then felt the warmth of his full lips on mine. It was soft and sweet. I didn't want to pull away. As much as i wanted to continue i slowly pulled away. Robert's face became a deep red. Making his eyes bright.
"Ummm.... I'm sor-"
He began to say but i cut him off.
"Shhh..,"
I shook my head. "Don't be."
and i smiled.
He understood what i meant and his whole face illuminated with happiness. He grabbed my waist and gave me a hug. Keeping his hands at my lower back. I looked over his shoulder and saw everyone going back inside for next period. I backed up. " "We got to go, to class." I manage to get out.
"Ok, want me to walk you?"
"No it's ok, i'll talk to you later-"
Out of the corner of my eye i see Emmett. He was sitting on the window sill watching me. I think that he had seen when Robert kissed me because he looked at me then Robert. Emmett looked like he was going to rip Roberts head off. Then i got a plan.
"Ok Bye Robert"
I say and go up to him once more and kiss him but instead of on the cheek i kiss him full on the mouth. Robert pulled away with this dreamy look on his face while Emmett had the most grotesque. He was mad. very mad. Good i thought to my self as i began to walk down the hall. I could tell Emmett was still watching me so i flipped me hair and swung my hips a little more. Just to rub it in his face.

To me, this video was going to be made at some point and I figured I would do it now. I know, this video is depressing and I am not a depressing guy but if you knew what was going on in my life, you might get a little teary. If you look closely, you can see that I was on the verge of crying at least 3 times, this was a sad video to make. Although, I threw in the guitar solo as a little bit of comedy. I'm sorry if it does not seem like an actual music video

Never should you let arise any belief system of yours.
As a matter of course,
Neither group belief system of any kind should arise.
Satori is the last resort
To rescue merely an individual,
Out of insanity the person has been trapped within.
Therefore, it's not "the right way",
Not "something great",
not even "useful",
nor will it "change the world".
Nothing matters, only if you alone are relieved.
Truly, it is for an individual self, for one person.

The attachment to the experiences of Satori itself,
The relation between the society and Satori,
The meanings and values of Satori for the future, and so on,
The distinction between Satori and Delusions, and so on.
Any of these self-identification processes, sort of "recurring illusions",
Cut them down by meditating on The Absolute Darkness.
I shall make a point that sounds very egoistic.
"Nothing matters, simply if I am at ease all by myself."
Without any regards to the society nor the world, all needed is my personal peace.
This is the true statue of Satori.
Because,
Nothing other than being continuously at ease all by oneself
Can be truly helpful for someone else.
The total absence of any intention to help makes it indeed helpful.
Because the very thought such as "Being helpful, valuable"
Is the Delusion. It is a totally wasted thought.
Similarly, any idea like "Tao, Zen, and Buddhas are valuable to the world"
Is totally delusive.
Look at the people who let themselves caught in this type of delusion.
Not only organized religions,
but meditation groups, Zen temples, all of them.
They firmly identify themselves with the thought;
"We must get Satori",
"We must help others",
"We should serve others",
And it continues, "Let it be", "Drop your mind", ...
But true Satori cannot encompasses something "Good", at all.
Because once it starts, the dividing-mind will inevitably produce something "Bad".
So, only the No-knowing can be the relief.
No-attachment.
No-mercy,
No-light,
No-fame,
No-value,
No-power,
Is the principle of my enlightenment.
The only womb,
where you should "born again"
Is The Absolute Nothingness.
Absolutely meaningless Darkness.
It is an absolute barren world.
Therefore, if you make the Darkness your home and face it,
Nobody, no belief system, no values
Can possibly make superficial coatings upon your consciousness.
Whatever coatings may it be, it's "Nothing" in front of the Darkness.
Anything added on you, will peal off after a while.
It will eventually swallow and nullout even Satori at the end.
So, there is only one guiding master for your lifetime.
Only The empty Dark Void.
Be intimate with The Dark Void.
The only true Guide is the Darkness.
In any Ages, any Universes,
"The Master Guru of The Master Guru" has been the Darkness.
Don't take anyone, anything else as the Guide,
The Darkness is the Guide for everyone.
Including all dimensions, fauna and flora,
It's The Guru for all and everything.
This is how, eventhough it died as formal temples
"Only The Zen lineage of Dharma" has survived till our days.
It's all because of The Darkness of The Void,
which meditators and Zazen practitioners stayed face to face.
On each enlightenment ---on each glimpse, sobering up,
Again and again dipped into the Darkness, should one deepen The Meaninglessness.
This way, Satori truly stays Satori.
Otherwise, one day, even Satori would become a "Religion".
Would become a "Logic". A "Technique". A "Way".
Don't turn "Nothing" into something.
"Nothing" will be "always Nothing".
In truth, what makes you at ease?
In reality, where will you feel at home the most?
The answer is The Dark Void.
The world, universe, values,
When all these are gone,
One feels refreshing.
The true home of yours
Is "The Dark Void". Absolute Nothingness. The absolute death.
I have repeatedly told my disciples.
The next step of Satori as just "exiting" is the last one.
Up to the existential nature of just "being" can be told.
There are also methods and ways.
Relations with the human society, as well.
It is a pure simple existence.
Harmless and sometime strange walks in the midst of the life.
But after that, just a dimension of "Non-exitence".
It's not even a dimension any more.
Darkness, Darkness, Darkness, Darkness....
Not even Satori. Total Nothingness.
The Absolute Nothingness.
Just Nothingness.
No more logic,
No more meditation,
No more Satori,
Everything gone away.
And You,
Also Existence,
Then the Universe itself,
All gone.
Absolutely infinite,

LOS ANGELES, November 25,2008(AP) -- When Pau Gasol made his Lakers debut back in February following his trade from the Memphis Grizzlies, he led Los Angeles to a 15-point victory at New Jersey on a night when Kobe Bryant had the lowest-scoring game of his MVP campaign.
Things looked eerily similar against the Nets on Tuesday night in the rematch at Staples Center. Gasol had 26 points and eight rebounds before sitting out the fourth quarter, and the defending Western Conference champions overcame Bryant's shooting woes in a 120-93 rout that improved the NBA's best record to 12-1.
"I think it's a good sign and it's a healthy sign,'' coach Phil Jackson said after the Lakers' most lopsided victory ever over the Nets. "But we want Kobe to shoot the ball well and have big games, obviously. That's the focal part of our offense - to get things through him. We want to have him be the threat, so that everybody has to overplay and always be concerned with him. That makes everybody else have an easier game.''
Bryant had difficulty with Vince Carter's defense, going 5-for-17 from the field in 28 minutes and finishing with 12 points in the Lakers' fifth straight victory. He shot 1-for-9 in the first half and didn't get to the free-throw line until 1:11 remained in the second quarter. The last time they met, the two-time scoring champion was outscored 27-6 by Carter and shot 3-for-13 with no free-throw attempts.
"It just shows you their balance,'' Nets coach Lawrence Frank said. "I think that's the greatness of the Lakers. Kobe is obviously one of the elite players in this league, but they have so much around him. They are a high-level team. They're 12-1, and they have Gasol from the beginning now.''
Devin Harris had 21 points and six assists for the Nets, who again played without Stromile Swift (back), Josh Boone (bruised left ankle) and Chris Douglas-Roberts (right knee strain). Eduardo Najera, who has an injured back, did not make the trip.
Yi Jianlian had 13 points and nine rebounds for the Nets, who shot only 34.5 percent and went 3-for-19 in the fourth quarter while getting outscored 30-17. Carter scored 14 points before sitting out the final 6:51. Rookie center Brook Lopez made four of his first five shots, but went 2-for-10 the rest of the way and finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
"We did not play like the Nets tonight,'' Harris said. "The ball was not moving and we took bad shots. I can put that on myself, because I started that trend.''
Lakers big man Andrew Bynum picked up his fourth foul midway through the third quarter with his team ahead 70-66, but his teammates responded with an 11-4 spurt and took a 90-76 lead into the fourth. The second unit opened the period with a 15-2 run, including 3-pointers by Sasha Vujacic, Jordan Farmar and Lamar Odom, and capped it on an 18-footer by Trevor Ariza that gave Los Angeles a 105-78 cushion with 8:19 left.
"Their bench was tremendous,'' Carter said. "I thought their second unit was the difference. If you do not match their energy and play your `A' game, you will not beat this team - especially here.''
The Nets missed their first eight shots of the fourth before ending the drought on a 20-footer by Trenton Hassell with 5:24 remaining. By then, the Lakers led 113-88.
"Their bench was huge - guys like Jordan Farmar and Lamar Odom and the intensity they brought,'' Frank said. "Then we just started taking a bunch of shots and lost our way a little bit, and never responded to their run. That's why it's 48 minutes. We're not going to win many games shooting the way we did and then compounding that with poor defense.''
Gasol, who had 24 points and 12 rebounds against the Nets in the 105-90 win last February, paced the Lakers to a 56-54 halftime lead with 16 points.
"Our emphasis was the inside game,'' Jackson said. "They have a lot of young players on the interior, so I thought both Pau and Andrew would be players we could feature as far as getting the ball inside. But Pau made outside shots, too. He played a fine game. We just like his overall game - defensively and the way he talks and helps people through the defensive situations.''
Notes: The Nets won their first 13 games after Frank replaced Byron Scott as head coach on Jan. 26, 2004. Since that streak, they are 184-184 in the regular season and 18-20 in the playoffs. ... Yi, the Nets' 7-foot forward, made a 3-pointer in the first quarter and is 23-for-57 from behind the arc in 79 NBA games.
